Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 500 g Kohlsprossen
  • 1.173 g Äpfel Berggolden
  • 200 g Walnusskerne
  • 248 g Gouda gerieben
  • Olivenöl
  • Salz, Pfeffer, Thymian

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat. Wash the Brussels sprouts, remove the outer leaves and halve the sprouts.
  2. Wash two to three apples from the pack, core them and cut them into bite-sized wedges. The remaining apples can be enjoyed as fresh fruit.
  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts and apple wedges on a baking sheet, drizzle with a little olive oil and season generously with salt, pepper and thyme. Roast everything in the oven for 20 minutes.
  4. Afterwards, roughly chop the walnuts, sprinkle them along with the grated Gouda over the vegetables and bake for another 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
